Ireland

Ireland, officially known as the Republic of Ireland, is a country located in western Europe. It occupies about 80% of the island of Ireland, with Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, taking up the remaining 20% in the north. Ireland has a population of approximately 4.9 million people and its capital and largest city is Dublin. The official languages spoken in Ireland are Irish (Gaeilge) and English.
