Avelo Airlines, known for its affordable fares, is set to introduce a trio of new routes from Connecticut this summer, venturing into the Midwest and the South.
Commencing in June, the airline will inaugurate flights from its hub at Tweed-New Haven Airport to Houston, Texas; St. Louis, Missouri; All three routes will be serviced by Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
Services to St. Louis are slated to commence on June 13, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, while flights to Houston will take off on June 14, with service scheduled for Mondays and Fridays. Finally, flights to Traverse City will debut on June 15, operating on Saturdays.
In celebration of the new routes, Avelo is offering introductory one-way fares starting at a mere $62. Travelers keen on seizing this offer must book their tickets by March 27 and complete their travel by July 31.

Having commenced operations in 2021, Avelo Airlines has steadily expanded its network, including the introduction of flights to Puerto Rico last year, marking the carrier’s inaugural foray into the Caribbean.
With its hub in Connecticut, Avelo will now serve 24 destinations across 11 states and Puerto Rico. Notably, with the addition of the new routes, Avelo will be the sole carrier offering nonstop flights between Connecticut and Missouri.
The airline operates on a low-cost model, with ancillary fees for services such as seat assignments, checked bags, and carry-on bags.
