Disney Cruise Line has shared a closer look at the food and drink options that will be available on its newest ship, the Disney Destiny.
The upcoming vessel will feature several new dining and lounge venues, including The Sanctum, a bar inspired by Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange.”
Guests visiting The Sanctum will be surrounded by magical design elements such as the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj. While enjoying the mystical setting, they can choose from a wide selection of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, and coffee-based drinks.
Signature cocktails will include the Circle of the Cosmos, made with Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice, and garnished with a spiral of lemon peel. Another option is the Vapors of Valtorr, a mix of Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup, topped with berry-flavored bubbles.
For those with a sweet tooth, Edna À La Mode Sweets will be the go-to spot. This dessert shop is inspired by the stylish and witty character from Pixar’s “The Incredibles.” Guests can enjoy a range of treats, including handmade gelato, ice cream, candy, cupcakes, popsicles, and more. Fan favorites like Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums will also be available.
The menu features indulgent items such as Elastigirl’s Cupcake, made with orange-almond cake, raspberry mousse, and a smooth orange chocolate velvet coating, finished with sprinkles and chocolate decorations. Another highlight is the Edna À La Mode Cookies & Cream Cookie, a three-layer cookie filled with dulce de leche.
These new food and beverage offerings are part of Disney’s continued effort to bring immersive storytelling and creative dining to life at sea.
