The Croatian National Tourist Board has introduced a new certification program for travel advisors based in North America. The program, called the Croatia Full of Life Certificate, is designed to help travel professionals better understand Croatia’s tourism options. It comes at a time when the country is expecting a record number of direct flights in the summer of 2025.

Next year, Croatia will be connected to 42 countries through 122 direct flights. This marks a new level of global access to the country, making it easier than ever for international travelers to visit.

“We are thrilled to introduce this certification as a way to support travel advisors in promoting Croatia as a year-round destination,” said Leila Kresic-Juric, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in North America. “By deepening their knowledge, advisors can inspire travelers with authentic, customized itineraries that showcase Croatia’s unique charm beyond its well-known highlights.”

As part of the program, travel advisors will join five themed webinars. Each webinar will cover different aspects of Croatian tourism, including top attractions, emerging destinations, luxury stays, sustainable tourism, and off-the-beaten-path experiences. After the sessions, participants must pass an online quiz. Those who do will receive an official Croatia Full of Life Specialist certificate.

The webinars will focus on specific regions:

  • Zagreb and Central Croatia, with an emphasis on culture and the arts.
  • Istria and Kvarner, known for food, wine, and golf.
  • Zadar and Lika, highlighting outdoor activities and trips for multiple generations.
  • Central Dalmatia and Dubrovnik, focusing on island hopping and destination weddings.
  • Slavonia, promoting rural and wellness tourism.

The program is free for all participants. Early registrants and top-performing advisors will also be eligible for special incentives.

This new certification effort reflects Croatia’s growing appeal and its commitment to supporting travel professionals who help bring visitors to the country.
