Hilton Worldwide announced that it will soon integrate Conferma’s API into its property management systems (PMS) to simplify the use of virtual card payments.
This new integration will allow hotel staff to verify virtual card payments directly through the PMS. Travelers who book through the Conferma platform will no longer need to use email or fax to confirm their payment details, a common obstacle in virtual card transactions.
The new service is expected to launch this month, with full implementation planned by the end of the second quarter, according to a Hilton spokesperson.
Jason Lalor, CEO of Conferma, called the collaboration a major step forward, stating, “This partnership will save business travelers time on administrative tasks and help hoteliers enhance the experience for business guests.”
The agreement will apply to thousands of Hilton hotels worldwide that use Hilton’s Property Engagement Platform (PEP) or OnQ property management systems.
