Qatar Airways has announced the launch of three additional flights between Doha and Manchester, starting June 4, 2025. This expansion comes in response to rising demand for travel ahead of the summer season.
The airline will operate the route using its advanced Airbus A350-1000 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Voted the Best Airline in the World by Skytrax in 2024, Qatar Airways first began flying to Manchester in 2003. The city remains a key destination in the airline’s extensive global network, which spans more than 170 locations. Passengers traveling to Manchester will also benefit from Qatar Airways’ award-winning hub, Hamad International Airport, recognized as the World’s Best Airport and Best Airport Shopping by Skytrax in 2024.
Thierry Antinori, Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, explained, “The increase in flights to Manchester is part of our effort to improve global connectivity to the ‘Capital of the North.’ With these additional services, passengers will have more options and comfort when traveling through our hub, Hamad International Airport.”
Antinori added, “These new flights will also enhance connectivity between the UK and Australia, two important markets for international travel.”
Manchester is well-known for its iconic red-brick Victorian buildings, world-renowned football clubs, and rich history in industrial innovation and music. It also boasts a vibrant arts scene.
