Denver International Airport (DEN) is enhancing its connections to Mexico with a new nonstop flight to Monterrey. The service, operated by Mexican airline Volaris, will launch on June 12, 2024. This marks Volaris’ third route from Denver, offering travelers more convenient options between the U.S. and Mexico.
The new route will run three times weekly, using an Airbus A320 aircraft. Flights depart Denver on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, returning the same days. Monterrey, a major business and industrial hub, is a key destination for both leisure and corporate travelers.
DEN CEO Phil Washington welcomed the expansion, highlighting the airport’s commitment to connecting Colorado to global markets. Volaris executives emphasized the airline’s focus on affordable, efficient travel for passengers visiting family or conducting business.
With this addition, Denver now offers nonstop flights to 11 Mexican destinations. The airport continues to grow its international network, supporting tourism and economic ties between the regions. Tickets for the new route are now available for booking.
