Las Vegas is set to become a year-round destination for horror fans with the opening of Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15 District on August 14. The attraction will feature four haunted houses, including a chilling experience based on the fan-favorite Halloween Horror Nights event.
One of the haunted houses, Scarecrow: The Reaping, transports visitors to the Dust Bowl era, where vengeful scarecrows—crafted from human flesh and traditional scarecrow materials—seek retribution against farmers for destroying the land. This terrifying experience has already thrilled audiences at Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Additional haunted houses will reportedly draw inspiration from classic horror franchises, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Universal Monsters, and Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer.
For those looking to extend the eerie experience, Jack’s Alley Bar will offer horror-themed cocktails and live entertainment in a dark, carnival-inspired setting, featuring the infamous Jack the Clown.
Tickets for Universal Horror Unleashed are now on sale.
