Qantas has announced a new international sale, offering discounted flights to New Zealand’s four major cities.
The New Zealand Getaway Sale, in collaboration with 100 per cent Pure New Zealand, provides reduced fares from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, and Queenstown.
Economy return tickets start at $499, and the sale runs for seven days. The discounted fares apply to selected travel dates, including the peak ski season in New Zealand.
Andrew Waddel, Tourism New Zealand’s General Manager for Australia, highlighted the country’s diverse attractions.
“A New Zealand holiday offers incredible variety within short distances. In one day, you can ski on the slopes, surf on the coast, and relax in a geothermal hot pool,” he said. “Regardless of the season, visitors will have plenty of choices. We are excited to welcome our Australian friends and family.”
All Qantas fares include checked baggage, meals, beverages, and in-flight entertainment. The sale applies to flights between April 28, 2025, and March 15, 2026, with some blackout dates. Discounts are available until 11:59 PM (AEST) on April 9, 2025, unless sold out earlier.
