The new route will provide more travel options for business travelers and individuals with personal or logistical ties to Zhejiang Province. It will enhance connectivity between Hong Kong and key economic regions in mainland China, fostering opportunities for cultural exchange and tourism.

This launch is part of efforts by airlines and aviation authorities in the region to restore air travel following disruptions in recent years. Adding Yiwu to HK Express’s network strengthens its presence in mainland China and reflects the rising demand for increased air traffic within Asia.

To celebrate the new route, HK Express is offering a temporary fare promotion for several Chinese destinations, including Yiwu, Beijing, Ningbo, and Sanya. The promotion will be available for travel between mid-April and late October 2025, with the Yiwu route opening on the same day as the inaugural flight.

Beyond business, Yiwu also offers attractions for visitors, such as Fotang Town, Jiming Pavilion, and Hengdian World Studios—one of Asia’s largest film production sites.

As part of its ongoing strategy, HK Express continues to expand its short-haul network, meeting the growing demand for regional travel and access to secondary cities across mainland China.
