South Korea wants Australians to discover its vibrant culture—starting with just one word: Annyeonghaseyo (hello).
The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has teamed up with Reborn to launch a new campaign running from 16 September to 3 November 2024. The goal? To spark curiosity about Korea as a must-visit destination by encouraging travellers to embrace this simple greeting.
Why This Campaign?
- Introduce Korea as a fresh alternative in Asia’s crowded travel market
- Showcase Korea’s mix of tradition and modernity—from K-pop and street food to historic temples and outdoor adventures
- Encourage deeper cultural connections by using Annyeonghaseyo as a gateway to authentic local experiences
What’s in the Campaign?
- Vibrant videos & digital ads featuring K-pop, Korean cuisine, and stunning landscapes
- A fun competition—saying Annyeonghaseyo gives you 10 entries to win
Why Visit Korea Now?
While many Aussies know Sawadee Krap (Thailand) or Konnichiwa (Japan), Korea remains an underrated gem. This campaign aims to change that—proving that one simple word can unlock unforgettable adventures.
