Great Journeys New Zealand (GJNZ) has announced an early bird sale, offering a 20% discount on all rail tours for the 2025 and 2026 travel season.
The limited-time promotion runs from April 1 to April 30 and applies to GJNZ’s full range of tours scheduled between September 2025 and April 2026.
GJNZ, the tourism division of KiwiRail, operates three scenic train journeys: the award-winning TranzAlpine, the Northern Explorer, and the Coastal Pacific. - Classic Southern Highlights Tour – An 11-day trip from Wellington to Queenstown, starting at NZ$7,199.
- Signature NZ Up-Close Tour – A 17-day experience from Auckland to Queenstown, beginning at NZ$14,999.
- Signature Flavours of Aotearoa NZ Tour – An 18-day adventure from Auckland to Queenstown, available from NZ$15,499.
- Signature Cities and Seas Tour – A 12-day rail journey from Auckland to Christchurch, priced from NZ$9,549.
