Walt Disney World has announced the return of its popular H2O Glow After Hours event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, promising an exciting and colorful summer experience. The exclusive nighttime event will take place on select evenings from May 23 to September 13, 2025, offering families a chance to enjoy the water park after dark in a whole new light.
Glow-In-The-Dark Fun
Hosted by Partysaurus Rex from Toy Story, the event will feature high-energy fun with appearances from even more beloved Pixar characters. Guests can enjoy the park’s signature attractions like the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool—the largest wave pool in North America—and ride the thrilling five-story drop on Humunga Kowabunga.
Since the event takes place after regular hours, attendees will experience shorter wait times and avoid the midday heat, making it the perfect way to enjoy the park’s top attractions with less hassle.
Bites and Beverages
The event is not just about the rides. This year, guests can look forward to new food offerings, including Chicken and Mickey-shaped Waffle Sliders at Leaning Palms and a Glow-versized Loaded Baked Potato at Typhoon Tilly’s. Fans will also enjoy complimentary treats like Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, and select beverages, all included with event admission.
Aquatic Dance Floor
The night wouldn’t be complete without the legendary DJ Dance Party. Guests can dance to energetic beats and vibrant lights while surrounded by Disney characters and fellow partygoers. The atmosphere will be filled with colorful lights, making for an unforgettable experience.
Tickets and Availability
Tickets for the event will go on sale in April. Disney resort guests will have early access starting April 1, with general sales beginning April 4. This year, there’s a new pricing option that makes the event even more family-friendly. Children’s tickets will be half the price of adult tickets, at just $42.50, while adults can attend for $85. Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders can also enjoy special discounts.
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 934-7639. Don’t miss out on this glowing summer celebration!
