Virgin Atlantic has officially opened a new Clubhouse lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the airline announced on Thursday, March 27.
Located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the lounge offers a variety of spaces designed for different needs, including areas for dining, relaxation, work, and mindfulness. It also features shower facilities and a VIP section.
The airline emphasized that the lounge was designed with wellness in mind, aiming to provide a calm space for passengers before their overnight flights to London Heathrow.
Key highlights of the lounge include the ‘Ruby Room,’ a Hollywood-inspired area with a private cinema and wireless headsets; ‘The Royal Box,’ an exclusive VIP space offering a “secret menu” and mood lighting; and ‘The Wing,’ which features soundproof work pods. Additionally, the ‘Zen Den’ offers a fitness and relaxation area with on-demand training content for strength and mobility.
Table service dining is available at every seat, while passengers can enjoy self-serve health-conscious snacks and salads. The bar serves a range of cocktails and vitamin-infused, non-alcoholic beverages.
“We’ve designed every aspect of the Clubhouse to reflect our British heritage while embracing the local Los Angeles lifestyle,” said Corneel Koster, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Customer and Operating Officer. “Los Angeles is a global wellness hub, and this new Clubhouse has been created to cater to that mindset.”
The Clubhouse is open daily to passengers traveling in Upper Class, Flying Club Gold members, Delta One customers on international flights with Delta, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta.
