Agoda, a leading online travel platform, has partnered with the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) to promote Macao as a top travel destination in 2025. The collaboration will highlight Macao’s rich culture, luxury hotels, and exciting events to travelers worldwide.
Starting in March and running until November 2025, the campaign will feature special hotel discounts and engaging multimedia content on Agoda’s platform. The goal is to attract more international visitors by showcasing Macao’s unique blend of history, entertainment, and world-class dining.
Damien Pfirsch, Agoda’s Chief Commercial Officer, said, “Macao offers a perfect mix of tradition and modernity. We’re excited to work with MGTO to introduce more travelers to this amazing city.”
Macao has been named the “Culture City of East Asia 2025.” This title highlights its role in promoting cultural exchange through festivals, art, and exhibitions. The city is also famous for its luxury hotels and top-rated restaurants. In 2025, Macao will once again lead the world in five-star hotels, according to Forbes Travel Guide. Additionally, 19 Macao restaurants earned stars in the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macao 2025.

The campaign will also spotlight major events in Macao, including the Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, the Macao Grand Prix, and the return of the famous House of Dancing Water show.
Through this partnership, Agoda and MGTO aim to make it easier for travelers to explore Macao’s attractions, offering seamless bookings for flights, hotels, and activities.
