KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have renewed their partnership with an expanded codeshare agreement. The deal will improve travel between Amsterdam and Jakarta, offering passengers more options and smoother connections.
The codeshare flights will run from May 11 to October 25, 2025. However, services will pause briefly during the peak travel season from July 7 to August 3, 2025. This break allows both airlines to manage high demand efficiently.
Under the agreement, KLM will operate two key flights:
Flight GA9089: Amsterdam to Jakarta (via Kuala Lumpur), flying on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Flight GA9088: Jakarta to Amsterdam (via Kuala Lumpur), departing on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.
Both airlines are part of the SkyTeam alliance, ensuring passengers enjoy seamless transfers and shared loyalty rewards.
To meet rising summer demand, Garuda Indonesia has added a third weekly flight between Amsterdam and Jakarta. This gives travelers even more flexibility when planning their trips.
Dimas Nugroho, Garuda Indonesia’s General Manager for Europe, expressed enthusiasm about the deal. “We’re thrilled to finalize our summer 2025 schedule with KLM’s support and our additional flight,” he said. “This partnership strengthens our commitment to top-quality service and better connections between Europe and Indonesia.”
The extended collaboration highlights both airlines’ dedication to improving global travel, making journeys between Europe and Southeast Asia more convenient than ever.
