Travelex has launched a groundbreaking loyalty program, Travelex Plus, designed to make travel money easier and cheaper for customers. The program offers exclusive benefits, including discounted currency rates, zero commission fees, and special first-trip discounts.
Members of Travelex Plus enjoy lifetime access to the best exchange rates. They can buy travel cash or top up their Travelex Money Card with no extra fees. New members get a welcome discount for online and app purchases in their first 30 days.
The program also helps travelers lock in the best rates. When a currency hits its highest value in 30 days, members get an instant alert. Travelex then freezes that rate until 7 a.m. the next day, giving them time to exchange money at the best price.
For now, Travelex Plus is only available in the UK, but it will expand globally later this year. The company plans to add even more benefits in the coming months.
To celebrate the launch, Travelex is running two special promotions. Between April 1–21, May 10–20, and June 16–September 1, 2025, new members who load £600+ onto their Travelex Money Card get an extra £40 in currency. Those loading £300–£599.99 get an extra £20.
Joining is free and easy. UK customers just need to share their email during any transaction—online, in-store, or via the Travelex app. Members can opt out anytime.
Travelex operates at major UK airports, including Heathrow, Birmingham, and Manchester, as well as retail locations like Selfridges and Westfield White City. The company will bring Travelex Plus to more countries in late 2025.
Simon Jackson, Travelex’s Chief Customer Officer, said: “Travelex Plus gives customers unbeatable value on cash and card exchanges. It helps us build stronger, long-term relationships while improving their experience. We’re excited to expand the program worldwide soon.”
With Travelex Plus, travelers can now save more, exchange smarter, and explore further.
