Disney theme parks are gearing up for a busy spring with exciting updates for 2025, offering guests new ways to enjoy the parks and introducing refreshed attractions.

Walt Disney World Resort Announces Summer Offers

Starting Thursday, March 27, 2025, families planning to visit Disney World can take advantage of several special offers, including:

  • 50% off Children’s Tickets: Save 50% on standard tickets for children aged 3-9 for visits between May 27 and September 20, 2025, when purchasing tickets for three days or more.

  • Three-Day, Three-Park Tickets: Enjoy a three-day, three-park ticket starting at $89 per day ($267 total, including tax) for visits from April 6 to September 22, 2025. This offer includes EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom (one park per day, excluding Magic Kingdom).

  • Free Dining Plan: Get a free dining plan with the purchase of a four-night, four-day (or longer) package, including a stay at a select Disney Resort hotel and tickets with the Park Hopper option. This offer is valid on select dates from June 29 to December 22, 2025.

  • Disney Resort Room Discounts: Save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotel rooms between August 1 and October 11, 2025. Florida residents and Annual Passholders will also enjoy special room deals.

New Shows: Disney Villains and The Little Mermaid

Disney is also introducing two highly anticipated shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting Tuesday, May 27, 2025:

  • Disney Villains: An Unfair Ending: This immersive musical stage show will feature beloved Disney villains like Cruella, Captain Hook, and Maleficent. The performance will take place at the Sunset Show venue and will include the latest in stage technology, creating a new and exciting theater experience.

  • The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure: A reimagined version of the classic show, this production will feature stunning sets, imaginative costumes, and cutting-edge effects. The show will capture Ariel’s world through her unique perspective, with memorable songs like “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World,” along with two new musical numbers, “Triton’s Daughter” and “Kiss the Girl.” Both shows will run multiple times per day starting May 27.

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin Gets an Update

At the Magic Kingdom, the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin attraction will temporarily close in August for major renovations. Guests can look forward to new scenes, updated rides, and enhanced gameplay.

The revamped attraction will feature a new character, “Buddy,” a friendly robot. Additionally, the ride vehicles will be upgraded with video monitors for real-time score updates, improved blasters for better aiming, and a more interactive experience through new lighting, sound, and vibration effects.

Disney Imagineers are excited about the improvements. “Everyone had a blast, and our team learned a lot,” said Justin Detora, creative director of the project. “It’s thrilling to see the project come to life on site after all the hard work.”

The revamped Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is set to reopen in 2026.
