Emirates is enhancing travel options for European passengers by introducing more Boeing 777 aircraft equipped with its new premium economy cabin. This move aims to offer more comfort and luxury to travelers on key routes.
The Dubai-based airline is in the process of retrofitting its B777 fleet with a new four-cabin layout, which includes premium economy seating and an updated business class section.
Emirates has confirmed that the first of these retrofitted aircraft will be deployed on its Lisbon route starting June 1, and on its Dublin route from June 25.
Earlier this month, the airline also revealed that a refitted B777 would begin operating the London Stansted-Dubai route on May 7. Additionally, Emirates will use the new aircraft on its second daily service from Stansted, starting June 1.
In addition to these new European destinations, Emirates will add the upgraded aircraft to flights between Dubai and several other cities, including Hong Kong, Kolkata, Colombo, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Male in the Maldives.
The airline plans to offer these enhanced cabins, which are being fitted across both its Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleets, on flights to 44 cities by September.
