Avalon Waterways has officially launched its Bordeaux river cruises, marking a highly anticipated milestone. The first official voyage of its new “Bonjour Bordeaux: Chateaux, Wineries & Charming Villages” itinerary set sail, receiving a warm welcome from wine lovers, culture seekers, and river cruise enthusiasts.
Following an exclusive VIP inaugural sailing, the company celebrated the debut of its new Bordeaux itinerary. The journey begins aboard the Avalon Artistry II, a newly updated vessel, and offers guests a chance to explore the Garonne and Dordogne River regions in classic Avalon style. The itinerary includes a range of activities, from visits to iconic châteaux and wine tastings to e-bike rides through vineyards, oyster tasting in Arcachon, and free time to explore the picturesque village of Saint-Emilion.
Avalon Waterways President Pam Hoffee expressed excitement about the launch. “We are thrilled to officially embark on this new journey through Bordeaux.
