G’day Group has officially launched its 2026 season with a series of exclusive trade showcases in Sydney and Adelaide, aimed at introducing key industry figures to its latest offerings.
The events highlighted several new developments within the G’day Group portfolio, including the upcoming Discovery Resorts – Cradle Mountain Village, Discovery Parks – Canberra, Discovery Resorts – Wilpena Pound, and Injiid Marlabu Calls Us at El Questro.
A major feature of the showcases was the announcement of new additions to the group’s self-drive itinerary program, which connects travelers to some of Australia’s most iconic regional locations. This initiative is being positioned as a key component of the G’day experience.
The trade showcases were held at Matt Moran’s Chiswick restaurant in Woollahra and the well-known Strathmore Hotel in Adelaide’s CBD. The Adelaide event on Friday also attracted tourism leaders from around Australia who were in town for the Australian Tourism Awards. A special panel discussion on cultural tourism took place during the Adelaide event, featuring Adnyamathanha tour guide Izzy Patterson from Discovery Resorts – Wilpena Pound and Grant Hunt AM, chair of Tourism and Events Queensland and G’day Group board member.
With bookings for the 2026 Spring Season opening on April 7 and the second release of their ‘Authentically Australian Experiences’ portfolio soon to launch, the G’day Group trade team is eager to begin another successful year.
The showcases also revealed the latest Industry Rate offers, inviting trade partners to experience the group’s properties firsthand, with rates starting at just $120 per night at Discovery Parks and $180 per night at Discovery Resorts.
