Leura Gardens Resort, located in the NSW Blue Mountains, has officially relaunched after being acquired by Dr. Jerry Schwartz last year. The resort is now managed by Trilogy Hotels.
As part of the relaunch, the resort has introduced a brand-new website, offering easy access to bookings for a wide range of accommodations, from standard rooms to apartments.
Plans are also underway to upgrade the Olive Tree Restaurant. The renovations will include new furnishings, a revamped menu, and extended trading hours. Additionally, Leura Gardens Resort has introduced new leisure packages, such as Faulty Towers The Dining Experience, which will run throughout the year in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the popular TV comedy series Fawlty Towers.
Set across four and a half acres of landscaped gardens, originally created in the 1920s by Lady Mabel Fairfax and her gardener Hector Hood, the resort features 92 rooms, including studio and family rooms, as well as self-contained apartments. On-site facilities include a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room, a lounge, a laundry, and a BBQ area.
The expansive grounds, multiple event spaces, and on-site restaurant make Leura Gardens Resort an ideal venue for weddings, functions, conferences, and corporate retreats.
“We’ve worked hard over the past six months to refresh the resort. It now offers affordable, high-quality stays in a beautiful setting,” said Rory Douglas, the hotel manager. “We’re also focusing on improving our food and beverage options to match the resort’s atmosphere and gardens, perfect for casual dining.”
Douglas added, “The Blue Mountains is home to some of the best walking trails and gardens in NSW, so we aim to be a destination for outdoor enthusiasts.”
The resort has partnered with the Schwartz-owned Fairmont Resort and Leura Golf Course, creating one of the most comprehensive conference and event venues in regional NSW. Located less than two hours from both Sydney’s CBD and Sydney Airport, Leura Gardens Resort is ideal for small to medium-sized day and residential events.
