The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has officially launched Destination Training within the CATO Touring Academy.
The first module focuses on the Principality of Monaco. This new addition expands on the Academy’s ongoing success in providing educational resources for the travel industry. The initiative offers travel professionals an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of specific destinations.
With over 1,500 learners and more than 60 training modules, the CATO Touring Academy has become a crucial tool for travel industry professionals. The introduction of destination-focused training aims to provide a more practical and immersive learning experience. This will equip agents with expert insights into popular destinations worldwide.
Monaco is the first destination featured in this new initiative. It allows travel professionals to explore what makes the Principality a top choice for travelers. This marks the beginning of an exciting new phase for the Academy, with more destinations expected to be added soon.
“Visit Monaco is proud to be the first destination featured in the CATO Touring Academy, offering the travel industry the latest insights from the Principality. With numerous new developments, a thriving cultural scene, exciting events, and a variety of newly opened restaurants and renovated hotels, it’s the perfect time for travelers to rediscover Monaco,” said Claire Neil, Regional Manager for AU & NZ at Visit Monaco.
Brett Jardine, Managing Director of CATO, also commented, saying, “This milestone is just the start. CATO is committed to rolling out more destination training modules in the months ahead.”
