Signature Travel Network, a leading travel advisor consortium, is taking a bold step to support independent contractors. The company has announced a subsidized membership program with the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) for 2025.
This initiative cuts the annual ASTA membership fee to just 99forSignature’sindependentcontractors—a148 discount off the standard rate. The move aims to make ASTA membership more affordable and accessible, helping travel professionals grow their businesses and advocate for the industry.
“We believe in the power of community and supporting the people who drive this industry,” said Alex Sharpe, President & CEO of Signature Travel Network. “By joining ASTA, our independent contractors are not only investing in their own success but also shaping the future of travel advising. This subsidy removes barriers and encourages everyone to stand with ASTA.”
Through this program, independent contractors gain access to ASTA’s resources, including training, certification programs, and consumer leads via VeriVacation.com. They also join one of the most respected organizations in the travel industry.
ASTA membership offers key benefits like industry credibility, networking opportunities, and professional development tools, such as the Verified Travel Advisor certification. Since all Signature agencies are already ASTA members, this initiative extends those benefits directly to their independent contractors.
Eligible contractors can claim this offer when joining or renewing their ASTA membership for 2025, ensuring they stay ahead in the industry.
