by gongshang06

Heathrow Airport is now fully operational after a fire at an off-site electrical substation caused a major power outage, halting flights and disrupting global travel. The incident, which occurred on Friday, led to widespread delays and cancellations, affecting hundreds of thousands of passengers.

To manage the fallout, Heathrow added extra flights on Saturday to accommodate around 10,000 stranded travelers. Hundreds of additional staff were also deployed to assist passengers and restore normal operations. The National Grid confirmed that power has been fully restored to the North Hyde substation, a critical power source for the airport.
