Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced plans to expand its fleet with three new “Super Ships,” set to sail Europe’s rivers in 2027. These vessels, designed to reflect the unique destinations they will visit, will operate on the Rhine, Main, Danube, and Douro rivers. While specific itineraries have not yet been released, the company promises an unparalleled luxury experience.
Uniworld CEO Ellen Bettridge emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating, “2027 will mark a major milestone for Uniworld as we complete our transition to an entirely Super Ship fleet. Our goal has never been just to add more ships, but to redefine luxury river cruising. These new vessels will showcase our dedication to innovation and craftsmanship, offering our guests an experience where every detail matters.”
The new ships will feature opulent designs, incorporating high-end materials such as custom fabrics, hand-carved wood, and marble floors. Art lovers will appreciate the curated collection of commissioned pieces and works by renowned artists displayed onboard.
In addition to their luxurious interiors, the ships will offer more spacious accommodations, including additional suites and dining options. Each vessel will draw inspiration from notable historical or cultural figures connected to the regions they traverse.
This announcement follows the recent launch of the S.S. Victoria in 2023 and the upcoming debut of the S.S. Elisabeth later this year. The S.S. Emilie is also set to join the fleet in 2025. Beyond Europe, Uniworld operates river cruises in destinations such as Egypt, India, Peru, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
With these new additions, Uniworld continues to solidify its reputation as a leader in luxury river cruising, offering travelers unforgettable journeys through some of the world’s most iconic waterways.
