SeaWorld is making waves with two exciting new attractions that will thrill visitors. The park has teamed up with The Pinkfong Company, creators of Baby Shark, to offer exclusive live experiences with the popular character at its parks in San Diego, Orlando, and San Antonio. Additionally, SeaWorld San Diego has launched a new jellyfish exhibit, the largest standalone jellyfish display in the U.S.
Baby Shark Swims into SeaWorld
In celebration of Baby Shark’s 10th anniversary, SeaWorld is collaborating with The Pinkfong Company to bring special character experiences to its parks. A new animated music video will also debut during the event. The fun begins at SeaWorld San Diego on April 18, continues at SeaWorld Orlando on June 30, and ends at SeaWorld San Antonio on September 11.
Families can enjoy a variety of Baby Shark-themed activities, including meet-and-greets with Baby Shark and Pinkfong, themed food, merchandise, and interactive activities designed for young fans. Additionally, there will be a chance to win a Baby Shark-themed getaway through a national sweepstakes.
One of the main attractions is a new Baby Shark animated music video, set to premiere on April 30. In this two-minute video, Baby Shark and Pinkfong become veterinarians at SeaWorld, where they meet baby animals and learn about the care provided by SeaWorld’s Rescue Team. The video will highlight SeaWorld’s commitment to rescuing and rehabilitating marine animals. It will be available in both English and Spanish on Pinkfong’s YouTube channel and SeaWorld’s social media.
Jewels of the Sea: The Jellyfish Experience
SeaWorld San Diego has also unveiled Jewels of the Sea: The Jellyfish Experience, a groundbreaking attraction where visitors can explore the mesmerizing world of jellyfish. This exhibit, the largest standalone jellyfish display in the U.S., features over 15 aquariums showcasing various jellyfish species. Visitors can view these creatures through a massive cylindrical tank, a cascading water globe, and an interactive LED-lit gallery that mimics ocean currents.
The exhibit aims to educate visitors about jellyfish’s life cycle, anatomy, and ecological significance. It highlights the importance of these creatures in marine ecosystems, while also promoting marine conservation. A life-sized Lion’s Mane Jellyfish sculpture, created from ocean debris by the nonprofit Washed Ashore, serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of plastic pollution on marine life.
“We’re excited to introduce Jewels of the Sea, a one-of-a-kind experience where guests can witness jellyfish like never before,” said Tyler Carter, Park President of SeaWorld San Diego. “This exhibit not only celebrates these stunning creatures but also raises awareness about ocean conservation.”
For those wanting a closer look, SeaWorld offers a Jelly Up-Close Tour, where guests can interact with jellyfish and learn about SeaWorld’s conservation efforts.
Special Spring Savings
To celebrate these new experiences, SeaWorld is offering limited-time discounts. Guests can save up to 55% on tickets, Fun Cards, and Annual Passes, with prices starting as low as $11.50 per month for Annual Pass members. Pass holders also enjoy unlimited visits, exclusive perks, and discounts on special events.
With these exciting new attractions and special savings, SeaWorld offers an unforgettable experience for families this spring.
