Golden Eagle Luxury Trains has announced an epic 22-day journey that combines six nights on its brand-new Silk Road Express train with 12 nights on the iconic Golden Eagle train. This luxurious adventure, called the Grand Silk Road, is set to launch in September 2026. The journey spans 6,500 kilometers, starting in Beijing, China, and passing through legendary cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, as well as Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Travelers will follow the footsteps of early Silk Road traders, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites, historical landmarks, and vibrant local cultures. Highlights include the majestic dunes of the Gobi Desert and the stunning turquoise waters of Lake Issyk-Kul.
