Australian travel commerce platform BYRDLI has joined forces with Washington, DC and Visit the USA. Their goal is to show that the US capital offers more than just monuments and museums. Through exclusive, creator – led itineraries, the campaign aims to spotlight the city’s lively culture, dining, and neighborhoods.
Travel creators Phoebe Lee (@travelforphoebe) and Mary Vitinaros (@maryvitinaros) will lead audiences on an immersive, bookable tour of Washington, DC. Their curated experiences will include both famous landmarks and lesser – known spots, all bookable via BYRDLI’s platform.
BYRDLI is a platform that aims to transform how travel is planned, shared, and booked. It enables creators and independent travel advisors to set up and profit from their own Travel Clubs, turning their influence into bookable trips.

Corey Marshall, Destination DC’s Australia and New Zealand director, wants to change the idea that Washington, DC is just a political city with museums and monuments. He said DC has vibrant neighborhoods and a great dining scene.
The campaign goes off the typical tourist path. Lee and Vitinaros will guide followers through DC’s busy neighborhoods, top restaurants, historic streets, and cultural areas. Their real – time storytelling on BYRDLI’s platform will let followers see, feel, and book these experiences easily.
To boost the campaign, BYRDLI and Washington, DC will hold an exclusive event in Sydney in August 2025. Attendees can meet the creators, learn more about the campaign, and find new ways to experience Washington, DC.
