The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) received some good news when two of its most famous beaches, Trunk Bay on St. John’s and Magen’s Bay on St. Thomas, were named to TripAdvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Best list. One of the top 10 beaches in the Caribbean. This honor not only underscores the U.S. Virgin Islands’ commitment to the conservation of the natural environment, but also further solidifies its position as a premier destination for beach lovers around the world.
Trank Bay and Magens Bay are known for their clear waters, soft sandy beaches and pleasant atmosphere and have long been loved by local residents and visitors alike. The inclusion in the 2025 list once again proves the unique charm of these beaches.
U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism Joseph Boschulte said, “This honor is a testament to the beauty and appeal of our islands. Our beaches not only provide an opportunity for visitors to relax, but also a window into the rich culture, history and hospitality of the U.S. Virgin Islands.”
Boschschulte also emphasized that the U.S. Virgin Islands remains committed to protecting the natural environment while providing a high-quality tourism experience for visitors. Whether diving, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the sun and sea breezes, Trank Bay and Magens Bay have something to offer.
This distinction will no doubt attract more visitors to the U.S. Virgin Islands to experience this Caribbean paradise for themselves.
