The Luxury Travel Collection (LTC) hosted its annual Global Business Owners Soiree in Longreach, Queensland. The event brought together 100 of LTC’s Global Business Owners and Partners, celebrating the area’s travel legacy and cultural importance.
Danielle Galloway of Flight Centre Travel Group emphasized storytelling’s role in the two – day “The Next Chapter in Luxury” event. She noted luxury is about creating lasting impressions, not just extravagance. The Soiree gave attendees exclusive access to Longreach’s best spots, highlighting the significance of human connections in luxury.
Nikki Glading, LTC’s General Manager, said many guests had Longreach on their bucket lists. The event aimed to value members’ dedication by creating special experiences.
The Soiree sparked talks on luxury’s evolving definition, with leaders considering the demand for personal and culturally significant travel. Denise Brown of Outback Queensland Tourism Association highlighted Longreach’s unique allure, where luxury means immersive, tailor – made Outback experiences.
The 2025 Soiree, supported by partners like PONANT, ended with a moving Opera Queensland performance on a Boeing 747 wing. This set the stage for luxury travel’s future in Australia and New Zealand, further explored at the Leadership Day Conference in Brisbane.
