Turkish Airlines will begin flying from Istanbul to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, starting December 10, 2025. This new route will make Cambodia the seventh Southeast Asian country served by the airline and Phnom Penh the 11th city in the region.
The new flights are expected to enhance trade relations between Turkey and Cambodia and contribute to the growing economy of Phnom Penh. This addition will also expand Turkish Airlines’ network in the Far East, bringing the total number of cities served in the region to 20 and the number of airports to 21.
The new service will provide Turkish Airlines passengers with easier access to one of Southeast Asia’s key destinations. It will also highlight the airline’s strong connectivity, as it will be the only European carrier offering flights to Phnom Penh.
Flights will be operated via Bangkok and will run three times a week. Departures from Istanbul to Phnom Penh will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights from Phnom Penh to Istanbul will be scheduled on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee, Prof. Ahmet Bolat, commented, “We are continuously expanding our network in Asia and strengthening our ties with strategic destinations. The launch of flights to Phnom Penh is an important step in this direction. These new flights will create opportunities for both tourism and business. As the only European carrier flying to this destination, we will further strengthen our leadership in the region.”
