The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has unveiled its new digital campaign, Kingston Season of Excitement, spotlighting major sporting and cultural events set to take place in Kingston during spring 2025.
As Jamaica’s cultural and sporting hub, Kingston promises visitors a vibrant mix of competition, celebration, and local charm. The campaign highlights three key events: the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships (March 25-29), Grand Slam Track (April 4-6), and Jamaica’s Carnival (April 21-28). These events are expected to draw crowds and create an electrifying atmosphere in the city.
To make travel easier, Expedia and Caribbean Airlines have partnered with the campaign, offering convenient travel options for those planning to attend.
Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative. “Kingston is the cultural capital of the Caribbean, and visitors will be captivated by the energy of this exciting season,” he said. “We look forward to welcoming more visitors to our capital, where they can enjoy authentic experiences and contribute to our local economy.”
Beyond the events, visitors can explore Kingston’s rich history, vibrant nightlife, and iconic attractions. They can also savor Jamaica’s world-famous cuisine and experience the island’s renowned hospitality.
Donovan White, Jamaica’s Director of Tourism, added, “This is the perfect time to visit Kingston. The city will be alive with energy, and we’re proud to partner with event organizers to offer unforgettable experiences for our visitors.”
The Kingston Season of Excitement campaign aims to position Kingston as a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a unique blend of culture, sports, and entertainment in 2025.
