Emirates is strengthening its footprint in Asia by introducing three new destinations starting summer 2025: Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap. The expansion, subject to government approvals, will reinforce Emirates’ status as the airline with the most extensive and diverse route network in East Asia. The carrier will operate 269 weekly flights from Dubai to 24 destinations across the region.
New Destinations at a Glance
Shenzhen
Emirates will launch daily flights to Shenzhen on 1 July 2025, becoming the first Middle Eastern airline to serve this tech hub. This will be Emirates’ fourth destination in mainland China. The flights will use the state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, equipped with four classes, including the latest Business Class seats and a highly sought-after Premium Economy Class.
Da Nang
The airline will operate four weekly flights to Da Nang, Vietnam, via Bangkok. Da Nang will be Emirates’ third destination in Vietnam, alongside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 777 aircraft.
Siem Reap
Emirates will also begin three weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia, via Bangkok. Services will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, utilizing Boeing 777-300ER jets in a two-class configuration.
Commitment to Connectivity
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline’s dedication to enhancing travel options. “We remain committed to providing business and leisure travellers with unparalleled access to Southeast Asia and the wider East Asian region by offering a comprehensive flight schedule,” he said.
The new routes aim to cater to growing demand for travel and trade links between Dubai and key Asian markets, further solidifying Emirates’ role as a global aviation leader.
