Get ready for a culinary adventure through Europe at the Melton Night Market on March 7.
The Melton Town Centre Amphitheatre will come alive with live music, traditional performances, vibrant market stalls, and an exciting selection of European cuisines.
Visitors can indulge in a variety of European dishes, with food vendors offering everything from Greek and Italian to Polish, German, Dutch, and French street food and desserts.
The evening will feature live entertainment starting at 5:15 p.m. with the Sanacori Italian Trio, who will perform traditional Italian music and tarantella dances. At 6:15 p.m., Dance Creations will bring the glamour of the Moulin Rouge to the stage.
Later, David Smile will lead a Latin dance workshop at 6:45 p.m., followed by a traditional Greek dance performance by Manasis Dance School at 7:30 p.m.
To wrap up the evening, the Schunkel Band will take the stage at 8:15 p.m., performing lively German Oompah music with a mix of tuba, accordion, and spirited vocals.
Melton Mayor Steve Abboushi expressed that the night market is a wonderful way to celebrate the area’s diversity.
“By experiencing other cultures and traditions, we build respect and understanding for one another,” Mayor Abboushi said. “Join us to celebrate the joy of diversity through food, music, and culture.”
The Melton Night Market will continue with an Oceania theme on Friday, April 4, featuring Polynesian dances like the Haka and Hula, along with more delicious food offerings.
Each market runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
