Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for a special celebration as Blizzard Beach Water Park marks its 30th anniversary this spring. Families visiting the park can enjoy a range of unique experiences and entertainment designed to make this year’s celebration one to remember.
The festivities officially begin on April 1, the park’s 30th anniversary. Guests will be treated to a variety of activities, including live DJ performances with cool beats, chances to meet popular Disney characters dressed in winter gear, and special digital frozen-photo frames to capture the fun.
The celebrations will continue throughout the rest of the season, which lasts until the end of April. Visitors can join in dance parties, participate in games, and collect special 30th-anniversary tattoos. The park will also offer exclusive themed merchandise, food, and drinks to keep the party going, both in and out of the water.
While the anniversary events wrap up in April, the fun at Disney water parks is far from over. On May 1, Typhoon Lagoon, Walt Disney World’s tropical water park, will reopen. Guests can enjoy a tropical paradise, complete with shipwrecks, a stranded fishing pier, and plenty of exciting adventures.
Additionally, guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels in 2025 will receive a special bonus: complimentary admission to the water parks on the day they check in. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon during a stay at the Magic Kingdom.
