A Singapore-based travel agency has introduced a new tour inspired by the popular Chinese animated film Ne Zha 2. The tour will take travelers to the character’s hometown in Sichuan Province, coinciding with the movie’s premiere in Singapore on Thursday, March 6.
According to Lianhe Zaobao, ASA Holidays unveiled the themed tour at the NATAS Travel 2025 fair on Sunday. The eight-day itinerary includes visits to Ne Zha’s ancestral temple at Cuiping Mountain and his hometown in Nanguang Town, Sichuan.
Albert See, Managing Director and Founder of ASA Holidays, explained that the tour is timed to match Sichuan Airlines’ new flight schedule. This allows flights from Singapore to arrive in Chengdu during the day, enhancing the overall travel experience.
The Ne Zha-themed tour will launch on March 31, with departure dates available from April to June, as well as in September and October.
To promote the tour, ASA Holidays has set up photo opportunities with Ne Zha and White Dragon mascots at the fair. Visitors who book the tour will also receive exclusive Ne Zha-themed souvenirs.
This initiative aims to attract fans of the blockbuster film while offering a unique cultural experience in Sichuan.
