New immersive attraction set to debut on March 29, 2025, offering fans an adrenaline-packed F1 experience.
Las Vegas is set to welcome the largest Formula 1 experience in North America with the opening of the Grand Prix Plaza on March 29, 2025. Developed in partnership with Round Room Live, the 39-acre venue will feature over 100,000 square feet of high-octane entertainment across three main attractions. Located at the heart of the Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building, the plaza will offer fans an unprecedented opportunity to engage with the world of Formula 1.
Three Thrilling Attractions
The Grand Prix Plaza will debut with three immersive F1 experiences:
F1X: This interactive exhibit takes visitors on a tech-driven journey through a state-of-the-art 4D exhibition. Guests can explore legendary F1 artifacts, iconic race cars, and even design their own virtual F1 car to test on a digital track.
F1 DRIVE: An official F1 karting experience, this attraction lets visitors race on a portion of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. Equipped with high-performance karts featuring F1-inspired technology like LED steering wheel displays and DRS systems, guests can feel the speed and excitement of Formula 1.
F1HUB: The central hub of the plaza, F1HUB, will house F1 SIMS racing simulators, a flagship F1 store, and dining options at Furel & Fork.
A Commitment to Las Vegas and F1 Fans
Emily Prazer, President and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., emphasized the significance of the new attraction. “Grand Prix Plaza represents a major investment in the future of Formula 1 in Las Vegas,” she said. “These attractions will give fans an up-close look at F1, whether they’re designing a car, racing in a simulator, or karting on the Strip Circuit.”
Prazer also highlighted the venue’s accessibility for locals, with discounted pricing to ensure the plaza becomes a year-round community hub. “We want Grand Prix Plaza to be a place where everyone can experience the thrill of F1,” she added.
Jonathan Linden, Co-CEO of Round Room Live, described the experience as the closest fans can get to an F1 race without being a professional driver. “This is the largest F1 exhibition we’ve launched in North America, and there’s no better location than Las Vegas,” he said. “Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the sport, this is your chance to see what makes F1 a global phenomenon.”
Hours, Tickets, and Event Spaces
The Grand Prix Plaza will operate Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The venue will also offer flexible event spaces across three levels and a rooftop, including three private areas: the Turn 1 Lounge, Cool Down Room, and GPP Garage, available for year-round rentals.
Tickets will go on sale March 6, 2025, at 10 p.m. PST, with special rates for locals, children, seniors, and military personnel. The attraction will close in late summer to prepare for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with plans to reopen at a later date.
The Grand Prix Plaza promises to be a must-visit destination for F1 enthusiasts and newcomers alike, offering a unique blend of entertainment, technology, and racing thrills.
