Universal Orlando Resort is launching a new nighttime experience at Volcano Bay Waterpark. The special event, called “Universal Volcano Bay Nights,” will allow guests to enjoy the park at night with limited crowds. The event will take place on select dates: April 12, April 26, May 3, May 10, and May 17. Tickets start at $99 per person (plus tax), including parking. Guests can also reserve a private cabana the day of the event, starting at $249.99.
During Universal Volcano Bay Nights, several popular attractions will remain open. These include the Krakatau water coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and the Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides. Entertainment will include a DJ at Waturi Beach, as well as classic games like limbo and hula hooping.
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet beloved DreamWorks characters such as Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots and Softpaws from Shrek the Monsters; King Julien and Alex from Madagascar; and Poppy, Branch and Guy Diamond from Trolls.
Complimentary snacks will also be available, including Spicy Island Shrimp and Cliffside Cheesy Shells. Attendees can also enjoy unlimited Coca-Cola beverages, including the Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup, which offers more than 100 drink options.
Several dining venues will be open with additional food and beverage purchases, including Kohola Reef Restaurant, the Social Club, the Dragon Boat Bar and Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona.
The event officially begins at 7 p.m., but guests can enter the park as early as 4 p.m. to make the most of their evening.
This new nighttime event offers guests a unique way to experience Universal Studios Volcano Bay in a more intimate setting, complete with entertainment, character meet-and-greets and unique dining options.
