Air Astana is set to launch direct flights between Atyrau, a city in western Kazakhstan, and Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, starting May 27, 2025. The new route will operate three times a week—on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using Airbus family aircraft.
This expansion adds to Air Astana’s existing services from Atyrau, which already include flights to Istanbul, Dubai, and Amsterdam.
The flight time between Atyrau and Tbilisi will be approximately one hour and 50 minutes. Flight KC125 will depart Atyrau at 8:00 AM local time, arriving in Tbilisi at 8:50 AM. The return flight, KC126, will leave Tbilisi at 12:40 PM local time and arrive in Atyrau at 2:30 PM.
Economy class round-trip fares start from 213, business class fares start from 213, and business class fares start from 587. The above prices include all taxes and fees. Tickets can be purchased through the Astana Airlines official website or authorized travel agencies.
With the addition of this new route, Air Astana will offer a total of 15 weekly flights to Tbilisi during the summer schedule. This includes nine weekly flights from Almaty, three from Astana, and three from Atyrau.
The new service is expected to benefit Kazakhstani travelers, as Georgia allows visa-free stays of up to one year for Kazakhstan citizens.
Air Astana has been actively expanding its international network from regional hubs. Recent additions include scheduled flights from Shymkent to Jeddah and Medina, as well as charter flights to Doha.
This latest route underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and providing more travel options for its passengers.
