The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has unveiled its latest initiative, the K-Incentive Scheme 3.0, aimed at boosting the number of Indian tourists visiting South Korea in 2025. The program focuses on encouraging Indian travel agencies to create and promote customized travel packages that highlight not only Seoul but also other stunning regions like Busan, Gangwon-do, Jeollanam-do, and Jeollabuk-do.
Through performance-based rewards and direct visa support, KTO hopes to strengthen tourism ties between India and South Korea, making the country a top destination for Indian travelers.
Key Goals of the Program
The K-Incentive Scheme 3.0 has three main objectives:
Increase Tourist Numbers: Attract more Indian tourists to explore South Korea’s diverse destinations, moving beyond the popular attractions in Seoul.
Engage Travel Agencies: Encourage Indian travel agencies to design and promote unique Korea travel packages, fostering greater collaboration with the Korean tourism sector.
Reward Top Performers: Recognize and reward agencies that excel in marketing and selling these travel packages through a performance-based incentive system.
How the Program Works
1. Customized Travel Packages
Participating agencies must create tailored travel packages that include at least one local city, such as Busan, Gangwon-do, Jeollanam-do, or Jeollabuk-do. This ensures travelers experience South Korea’s rich cultural and natural diversity.
2. Proposal Submission
Agencies interested in joining the program must submit a detailed proposal, including:
A promotional strategy outlining how they plan to market the packages to Indian travelers.
A well-designed itinerary showcasing attractions and experiences in the selected Korean destinations.
A visa screening process to assist travelers with visa applications, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
Marketing efforts should include email campaigns, social media posts, and advertisements featuring KTO’s “Imagine Your Korea” branding.
3. Selection Process
KTO will review all proposals and select designated agencies for the 2025 program. Chosen agencies will sign formal agreements with KTO to confirm their participation.
Benefits for Selected Agencies
Visa Support: Agencies can submit visa applications directly to the Korean Embassy or Consulate in New Delhi or Mumbai.
Visa Stickers: Each agency will receive 200 KTO visa support stickers to streamline the visa process for their clients.
Promotional Assistance: KTO will provide marketing and branding support to help agencies promote their packages effectively.
Performance-Based Rewards: Top-performing agencies will be recognized and awarded at the end of the year.

This initiative aims to strengthen tourism relations between South Korea and India, positioning Korea as a must-visit destination for Indian travelers. KTO encourages agencies to take advantage of this opportunity to expand their offerings and benefit from the exclusive support provided.
By promoting lesser-known regions and offering tailored experiences, the K-Incentive Scheme 3.0 promises to make South Korea an even more attractive destination for Indian tourists in 2025.
