AirAsia has announced the return of its popular ‘Free Seats’ campaign, offering up to 15 million promotional seats across its extensive network of 130 destinations. The promotion is valid for travel during the summer and year-end holiday periods, with bookings open until 2026.
Passengers traveling to and from airports in the Greater Bay Area can take advantage of free seats on select routes, including Hong Kong to Kota Kinabalu or Bangkok (Don Muang), and Shenzhen to Bangkok (Don Muang). Additionally, travelers can book flights to popular destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Jakarta, Bali (Denpasar), and Manila, with one-way fares starting from just HKD 410 or MOP 490.
For those seeking more exotic destinations, the promotion also includes flights to the Maldives, Perth, Tawau, Kuching, Boracay, and more. These routes offer one-way fares starting from HKD 817 or MOP 1,130, departing from AirAsia’s hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Manila, or Bali (Denpasar).
Amanda Woo, AirAsia Group Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm for the campaign, stating, “We are thrilled to kick off the new year with 15 million guaranteed promotional seats, giving our guests the opportunity to plan their travels and vacations from the second half of this year through 2026.”
The ‘Free Seats’ promotion begins at noon on February 15, 2025, and will be available for booking until February 23, 2025. Travelers can book their flights through airasia.com or the AirAsia MOVE app, with travel dates valid from July 1, 2025, to June 15, 2026.
As part of the promotion, AirAsia is also offering a 20% discount on its Super Value Package for first-time flight bookings. This package includes 20kg of checked baggage, in-flight meals, and standard seat selection.
It’s important to note that the ‘Free Seats’ promotion applies only to base fares and excludes airport taxes and surcharges. Availability is limited, and all-in fares will include taxes and other applicable fees. Terms and conditions apply.
