Düsseldorf Airport has awarded its latest food and beverage contracts to Lagardère Travel Retail, Casualfood, and SSP after a Europe-wide tender process. These contracts cover 12 new outlets, set to open starting in Spring 2026.
Lars Redeligx, Chairman of Düsseldorf Airport’s Management Board, stated, “Our goal is to be one of Europe’s top airports, handling up to 30 million passengers. To achieve this, providing exceptional dining options and a great experience for passengers, visitors, and staff is essential. We’ve now approved an innovative expansion of our food offerings.”
The airport emphasized that its selection of partners was driven by a focus on quality, variety, regional authenticity, and location-specific initiatives.
