Avianca has announced a new direct flight route connecting Dallas, Texas, with Bogotá, Colombia. The service will begin on May 26, offering four flights per week. This move strengthens the airline’s network and provides more direct travel options for those heading to Latin America.
The new route will be operated by Avianca’s Airbus A320, which can carry up to 180 passengers. This increases the airline’s weekly capacity by 1,440 seats.
“We are committed to enhancing connectivity across the Americas,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe. “This new route offers more options for travelers flying directly between the U.S. and Colombia. Bogotá is a city filled with history, culture, and many exciting attractions.”
The Dallas-Bogotá service is part of Avianca’s growing network between the U.S. and Colombia, complementing existing routes including flights from Miami, New York, Orlando, and Chicago to various Colombian cities.
