Celestyal Cruises, the Athens-based award-winning cruise operator, is expanding its Arabian Gulf offerings following a successful debut in the region in December 2024. Due to strong customer demand, the company has added a new sailing period and introduced the “Desert Days” voyage, set to depart from Dubai on 3 March 2025. This expansion increases overall availability by 10% for the remainder of the season.
The voyages will feature the Celestyal Journey, a 1,260-passenger ship currently undergoing upgrades in Dubai. The vessel is receiving refreshed interiors and a new exterior design, matching the style of its sister ship, the Celestyal Discovery. The upgraded ship is scheduled to resume operations on 15 February 2025.
The “Desert Days” itinerary offers departures from both Dubai and Doha, taking passengers to popular destinations such as Bahrain, Khasab, Sir Bani Yas Island, and Abu Dhabi. The journey also includes an overnight stay in Dubai, allowing guests to explore the city in depth.
To celebrate the expansion, Celestyal Cruises is running its “Live Your Vacation Dream” promotion, offering up to 50% savings on Celestyal Experience fares for bookings on the “Desert Days” voyage or other remaining itineraries. Prices start at $609 per guest, covering an all-inclusive package that features onboard meals, a shore excursion credit, complimentary wines and beers with dining, port charges, and gratuities.
