Globus Prepares for a Busy Year in Italy as Demand Soars

by Alice

Italy remains a top destination for travelers, and tour operator Globus is gearing up for a bustling year ahead. According to the U.S. Tour Operators Association’s recent survey, Italy has been named the leading “hot destination” for 2025, solidifying its popularity among tourists.

Globus offers a wide range of Italian tours to cater to diverse traveler preferences. Options include the classic eight-day coach tour from Rome to Milan, as well as independent city stays in iconic destinations like Rome, Florence, and Venice. For those seeking unique experiences, the company provides off-season trips, such as a 10-day journey from Palermo to Taormina in Sicily, and a new nine-day Small Group Discovery tour exploring Rome and Venice.

In response to the 2025 Jubilee year—a significant religious event in the Catholic Church—Globus, through its sister company Cosmos, is introducing a special seven-day Jubilee tour in Rome. This itinerary includes a visit to Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence in the Roman countryside, and the opportunity to participate in the Angelus prayer and blessing in St. Peter’s Square on Sunday, if available.
