Advantage Travel Partnership has announced a new partnership with technology firm Vibe to provide its online booking tool to members within the Advantage Managed Services (AMS) model. This collaboration aims to offer technology typically available only to large organizations, giving smaller and medium-sized travel management companies (TMCs) access to advanced booking solutions.
Advantage, the third-largest TMC consortium in Europe, sees this partnership as a strategic move to empower its members with innovative technology, helping them stay competitive in a crowded marketplace.
Stephen Baxendale, Advantage’s technology partnerships manager, emphasized the significance of the deal: “This partnership with Vibe will offer our members a standout technology proposition, enhancing their ability to compete with larger players in the industry.”
Danny Girling, Vibe’s business development and head of partnerships, echoed this sentiment, noting that the collaboration is designed to level the playing field and provide TMCs with the tools they need to compete on equal terms with larger organizations.
The AMS model, launched by Advantage in 2009 as a “plug and play” solution, currently supports 87 branches that collectively generate an annual turnover exceeding £160 million. This partnership with Vibe marks the beginning of what both parties anticipate will be a long-term relationship aimed at continuing to offer cutting-edge solutions to the consortium’s members.
