The study, which analyzed over 60 Christmas markets across the UK and Europe, determined Edinburgh’s Christmas Market to be the jolliest, with the highest engagement on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Edinburgh secured a remarkable 2,738 TikTok posts and 55,304 Instagram hashtags, showcasing the market’s widespread appeal.
Opening on November 15, 2024, the market is set against the iconic Edinburgh Castle, creating a picturesque backdrop for visitors.
