When my friend and I decided to spend a weekend in Page, Arizona, we made sure to check off a major bucket list item—the world’s largest floating restaurant, Jádi-Tooh, located on Lake Powell. Also known as the Antelope Point Restaurant, this expansive dining venue at Antelope Point Marina offers an unforgettable lakeside experience that exceeded my expectations.
Despite its reputation as a popular tourist attraction, Jádi-Tooh proved to be far more than just a tourist trap. When we arrived at the marina, finding the restaurant wasn’t immediately obvious. We followed the directions on Google Maps, leading us to a steep and winding gangway that descended toward a dock lined with houseboats. Though the walk was a bit strenuous, we were relieved to spot a few golf carts shuttling visitors from the parking lot, which quickly became our plan for the return trip.
After navigating the gangway, we finally reached Jádi-Tooh, which means “antelope” in Navajo, a nod to its location within the Navajo Nation. The restaurant’s stunning setting on the lake offered sweeping views that took our breath away. The place was relatively quiet, as it was the off-season, which added to the peaceful ambiance.
Opting to sit outside, we were guided through a spacious dining room to a table on the patio, where the tranquil waters of Lake Powell set the perfect backdrop for our meal. We started with a prickly pear margarita, rimmed with tangy tajin, and paired it with an appetizer of Ahi Poke Nachos. These inventive nachos swapped traditional tortilla chips for crispy wontons, and the ahi tuna, avocado, and seaweed salad added a delightful, fresh twist.
For our main course, my friend selected a gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza topped with chicken, mushrooms, and marinara. To my surprise, it was fantastic—proof that good pizza can be found outside of Italy! I opted for the Topside Tacos, served on blue corn tortillas, and they were just as delicious. The combination of flavors was incredible, and it was hard to decide which dish I enjoyed more.
As we dined, the serene environment and incredible views of the lake made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend a visit to Jádi-Tooh, not only for the exceptional food but also for the stunning scenery that surrounds it.
Page, Arizona, offers a wealth of attractions beyond the floating restaurant, including the awe-inspiring Horseshoe Bend and the lesser-known but equally stunning Antelope Canyon X. For a complete lakeside experience, consider staying at the Lake Powell Resort, conveniently located right on the water.
