Bali, Indonesia, has been named the fourth cheapest long-haul destination in the world, following Cape Town, Tokyo, and Hoi An, according to the latest Holiday Money Report by the UK’s Post Office. The report, which tracks the cost of popular tourist items, revealed that Bali’s average cost for ten key items has dropped by 8% from 2023, now totaling £67.70 (US$86).

Cape Town, South Africa: £52.66, prices down by 12%.
Tokyo, Japan: £64.07, prices dropped by 13.5%.
Hoi An, Vietnam: £64.80, prices fell by 21%.
Bali, Indonesia: £67.70, down by 8%.
Bali, which welcomed 15.5 million visitors last year, continues to attract tourists, with 3.89 million arrivals recorded in the first seven months of 2024, surpassing last year’s figures of 2.9 million for the same period.
